Inspired by the life of the ocean and the exceptional wild souls who are drawn to it

Our jewellery is a handcrafted union of preserved seashells from the shores of Blue Beach Island and high-quality silver imported from Switzerland, sometimes enhanced with a fusion of cultured pearls from India. The process all comes together in a small workshop in Hiriketya on the beautiful island of Sri Lanka, the pearl of the Indian Ocean. Each design is bespoke and based on the originality of each individual shell.

This theme extends to those who choose to wear our jewellery. Just as each seashell has its own precise shape and pattern, symbolising uniqueness, so, too, each person reflects an individual merging of virtues and flaws, blended into imperfect beauty. Likewise, each seashell twists and turns in the ocean’s relentless currents until it, too, forms a rare amalgam of harmony and dissonance.

People often strive to right their imperfections, rather than accepting them, whereas our philosophy is to create pieces of jewellery that embrace those tiny blemishes and asymmetries, lending them character and distinction. 

Seashells stand for resilience and determination as well as peace and tranquillity, as they come from the depth of the ocean. Once upon a time they were a protective outer layer of another being, abandoning that role and persisting to the present day, leaving behind a reminder of how wonderous our world is.
